Hi, I’m Caspian.
I’m a soon-to-be associate marriage and family therapist who just earned my Master’s in Integral Counseling Psychology at CIIS. I’m currently seeking associateship opportunities.
I went to study at the California Institute for Integral studies after a decade long career in research spanning from LGBTQ+ health disparities to neurostimulation for major depression — I wanted to make a difference, and it became clear that academia was not my path. I’ve since made the journey from head to heart, from intellect to embodiment, and by integrating both I’ve found ways of living and working which are generative, clear, expansive, grounded, flexible, and balanced.
I have a deep love for the outsider and love working with folks who have struggled to find a place for themselves in this world. Cultivating your own way of being is no easy task, as I well know, and I would be honored to help facilitate your process. Due to my own life experience, I am especially well prepared to work with queer and trans clients (and questioning), neurodivergent clients (especially autism/ADHD), clients who are ethically non-monogamous, and clients who are kinky and/or actively engaged in the leather scene.
I have an active spiritual life and a particular interest in working with spiritual emergence/y.
